Fraign provides cooperative artificial intelligence (AI) solutions within socio-technical systems. Blending a fundamental understanding of what makes a person a subject matter expert (SME) with the practical capabilities of AI, we develop systems that cooperate to form a better system.
Building cooperative systems requires an understanding of what humans and computers excel at and how to join them across common expectations. Humans excel at being insightful--understanding complex relationships with limited information--or more simply, thinking. While machines are able to quickly manipulate massive amounts of data. Bringing machines and people together to form a better union requires a focus not only on the technology, but on another form of human intelligence--cooperation.
The key requirements of any cooperative system are behavior prediction, communication in a tractable manner, credibility through consistent performance, and a culture of shared practice. These requirements are true for human-human cooperation, but the same is also true for human-AI cooperation. Construction of effective systems requires expertise in both how SMEs understand a problem and how AI can be leveraged to assist the SME.
